Chi sat on the steps of the Hades cabin bored and feeling a little lonely since she knew most of her Hades siblings were either not at Camp Halfblood or were living with her father. Chi sat there singing quietly the song 'My Immortal' by Evanescence.
"I'm so tired of being here. Suppressed by all my childish fears. And if you have to leave. I wish that you would just leave. 'Cause your presence still lingers here. And it won't leave me alone".

Alex and Striker were walking down the row of cabins, Alex was strumming his guitar and singing "New Divide" by Linkin Park while Striker flew calmly alongside him.
"So give me reason reason, to prove me wrong, to wash this memory clean.

Alex finished the song and slung his Stratocaster "Flyin' V" onto his back, that's when he heard another song he knew. He looked at Striker "Striker, that's My Immortal by Evanescence, I wonder whose singing it."
The little falcon stared at Alex and through his thought speech ability he said "I dont' know master, but it sounds like it's coming from cabin 13."
"You're right Striker!" Alex said as he looked to the Hades cabin. He came to a skidding halt and Striker landed on Alex's shoulder. Alex looked at the girl in front of him and simply said "Hello there, my name's Alex and this is my Peregrine Falcon, Striker."

Chi looked up quickly jumping slightly from hearing the sudden voice. Her voice had cracked during her singing because of it. She stopped singing and got up before she spoke to the boy. "Hello Alex...My name is Chi Ochita Tenshi..." She said with pride yet it had a hint of being shy. She spoke to the bird next " Hello Striker..." She bowed her head to the bird politely.

Striker twitched his head and looked at Alex as if hoping he would translate, Alex got the message and said "Striker says hello." he looked over at cabin 11 next door then sat down next to Chi. "My friend Ej says he's met you before. Do you know him? Tall, shaggy brown hair, has a necklace that turns into a zweihander."

Chi nodded at the falcon. She sat down once again and looked at the boy. As she heard the name of the Hermes boy she smiled slightly and nodded. "Yes, I know the boy. Ej, he's really nice it seems he likes hugs a lot..."

"Back in South Dakota, Ej would hug everyone at his school" Alex said as he slid his guitar pick out from under his wristwatch and then pulled his stratocaster "flyin v" onto his lap. He picked a few chords and started playing one of his favorite songs. Enter Sandman by Metallica

Chi scoffed "Why am I not surprised he did." She looked at the watching him pull out his guitar and play a song by Metallica. Chi didn't listen to Metallica really ever but she knew of them and they're style. She listened to the sing the song and play his guitar. 'He's good...' She thought to herself with an invisible smirk.

Alex finished the song, slid his guitar back onto his back, and drew his kopis sword from his thigh scabbard, the two feet of bronze caught the sunlight as he started sharpening the blade, giving it the appearence that it was glowing. He looked over at Chi "You like my sword?" he asked

Chi watched the boy put his guitar back on and pull out a kopis sword from his thigh scabbard. Her eye twitched as she watched him sharpening his blade. Chi studied it silently before answering the boy. "It's nice, much different from my weapon and my sisters." She began to fiddle with her small bracelet on her wrist.

Alex looked over at his falcon, who nodded, took off and landed in the grass. Striker began to glow and grow, in only 5 seconds a majestic looking 7-foot tall falcon stood next to him. Alex smiled, pulled out a bronze coin and spun it on his thumb and his archery gear appeared over his jeans and black camp t-shirt, his quiver appeared at his side and his bow strapped to his back. With that he walked over and started petting his giant bird

Chi's eyes widened at the sight of this. She didn't notice it but her pet fluffy had came out of her cabin. Fluffy came to Chi's side unsure if she was safe here. Chi looked at her pet Fluffy and hugged him to her side.

Alex noticed Chi's pet come out of the cabin but kept stroking Striker's head then he asked "Hey, you wanna take on Striker, he'll be gentle, I swear on the river styx that he will

Chi tilted her head to the side confused at who he wanted to have fight his pet. Fluffy looked at Chi also confused 'Chi, who does he want to have fight that bird?' She sighed "If you wish Striker to fight Fluffy I warn you I can't promise Fluffy will behave. Fluffy is the puppy of the Cerberus the monster that protects the entrance to the underworld. Fluffy's just as strong as his parent." Chi was completely serious due to the fact that she worried about the thought of the two pets fighting.

"I meant to say take a ride on Striker, sorry that came out wrong, no fight, just a ride, Striker seats two, and like I said, he's very gentle" Alex explained, he couldnt believe what he had said came out wrong. *facepalm* "I am such an idiot" he said quietly to himself.

Chi replied poliely which sounded like she was smiling even though she was not "I love to." Fluffy truely didn't like the idea of her flying on that oversized bird as he enjoyed calling it.
