It wasn't nearly how she thought it would be. All of her past experiences with Macavity flew out the window. Those kisses had been short, and rather awkward at times, but now... there was no-one to stop her from getting just what she wanted. Alarik provided all the passion in the world, even in those fleeting moments...
Her arms naturally moved upward, fingers caressing his neck in gentle circles. (She was too short to fully wrap them around his neck.) Aravind was happy, deliriously happy, and she loved it. Passion grew within her, and she knew he could sense it.

Alarik felt Aravind's arms and hands on his neck, he wrapped his own around her waist. In one quick movement he lifted her gently off the earth, sun her around without once breaking the kiss, and then planted her softly back in her original spot before gently breaking their kiss. His eyes flutter open then to watch her reaction.

She had left the earth, not only in her mind, but in reality. The sheer weightlessness she felt was all because of the man before her, he who had lifted her high into the air without skipping a beat in that oh-so-sweet kiss. She opened her eyes to him as he studied her face. A stupid-looking grin spread its way across her strawberry lips, and her arms slid down so she was simply embracing him, head against his [extremely toned] chest. Aravind couldn't speak, only whisper.
"Sir Beck, that was-"

Alarik smiled and held Aravind close, resting his chin atop her head. He lifted one of his hands to run his fingers through the Demeter child's hair. He hummed quietly, a song as sweet as honey and soft as feathers. It drifted up and around the two standing there in the field, as the notes were then carried off into the wind.

She continued to stand in silence as his fingers ran through her hair. It had fallen out of the hair-tie that constricted it earlier, so the length was now until her mid-back. As he began to hum, the world seemed to get brighter- the sun smiled on them, the birds seemed more sweet, and the notes simply amplified themselves around the two. Aravind glanced up at him, seeing an indescribable portrait of contentment on his perfect face.

Alarik admired the 16 year old's face, moving his hand from her hair to cup her chin. He gently kissed her forehead, then her nose, and then her lips yet again. They were lingering kisses, sweet and warm as the sun on a spring day. The music continued to play as the red-head continued to hum.

It all seemed like a movie- this perfect gentleman fell, almost quite literally, from nowhere. He had complimented her and kissed her and kissed her again and again and- Hang on. Where was that cockblock of a best friend? Wasn't there supposed to be some conflict? It was in every single chick flick ever. His taste lingered on her lips, so she brushed the thought away, kissing him back gently.
The music was purely magical, she decided. It clinged to her heart and made her soul bare, it made her feel all these indescribable emotions. He held her close. He kissed her. He- Not this again. She was thinking about the music. The perfect music that escaped his perfect self...

Alarik broke the kiss gently, and stared into her hazel eyes, with his own mis-matched pair. Everything was going absolutely perfect. The red-head sighed and looked quickly at his watch. "Ah, a million apologies my dear sweet lady. But I must be off. Perhaps we could arrange another meeting for a later time? I'd very much enjoy getting to know you better." He said, the music drifting off to an end.

She nodded, a bit sad as he broke the kiss. Aravind was happy, too, but... Stupid hormones. "I-I'd like that ver-"
"Aravind! Hey~!" Her eyes widened as she looked up at the Scotsman's face. Glancing over her shoulder, she saw her best friend approaching quickly, racing to meet up with her. "Hey, what's-" Vincent stopped to catch his breath beside them, stopping his train of thought as he saw Alarik towering over her. "up...?"

Alarik watched with a raised eyebrow as a blond boy ran up, shouting for Aravind's attention. "My lady, before I go, would you mind introducing me to whoever this is? And as for our later meeting, how does 7:00pm next Friday sound? I can meet you at your cabin if you'd like." The son of the sun asked.

Vincent looked hesitantly between the two, not sure if the man meant any harm. He was, of course, particularly wary of handsome men... around Aravind. YEAH. That's what he meant. (*cough*) The heat rising to his cheeks was because she looked so good with her hair down... and this stranger's eyes were so enticing... ♥ His own eyes, naturally, narrowed to slits, but Aravind allayed his fears for a moment.
"Cen? This is Alarik. Alarik Jakob Judas Beck. Sir Beck, this is my friend Vincent Taylor." She truly hoped they would at least trust each other... truly... "Oh, Alarik. Seven sounds fine. Nothing will keep me." Ara glanced at her blond friend pointedly. He simply shrugged at her, holding out his hand for Alarik to shake, with a wary smile.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Sir. Beck." Ouch. Biting sarcasm... but he really did like this happenstance.

Alarik smiled cool-ly at Vncent, accepting the handshake like the "gentleman" he was. "Oh, the pleasure's all mine, good Sir." He said in a voice masked with politeness and honey. His mis-matched eyes narrowing ever so slightly, taking on similarities to that of a cats eyes. The red-head turned to Aravind quickly, saying, "I'm glad to hear that. Seven it is then, my dear lady."

She nodded politely in return, with a relieved smile. "Until then, kind sir." Aravind simply shook her head in disbelief at her friend's semi-rude behaviour.
"Goodbye, then," Cen whispered. His hand was all tingly with energy, and he glanced at it hesitantly, as if expecting to see a burn there. He looked up at Aravind questioningly. WHO was this guy? Who was he to make plans with his gi- friend. Best friend. In the royal friend zone of cra-. Yeah. Not happening, bro. He facepalmed with his tingling palm, making it flare up in pain. he fliched, eyes narrowing further in fury.
Alarik Jakob Judas Beck... That name would stay with them both.

"Well, it appears i must be off before i am found late. good bye my sweet lady, and good bye to you too, Vincent." Alarik said, turning to leave, music starting up again around him and echoing as he wandered away.

The young woman stared after him, two fingers tracing across her bottom lip absent-mindedly... "Goodbye..." Her best friend simply focused on the music receding, with a slight smile he had been afraid to show. "Alarik..."
((I'm done if you are...))
