Before she knew it, she was all alone in the dark. Vienna wandered around aimlessly in the dark, extremely nervous something was going to come out and scare her. She stayed close to the lake as she walked. "H-hello?" she asked nervously, hoping she could find a way to somewhere she was familiar with, like her cabin or something. She was truly scared, not knowing what to expect.

Lance's faithful rottwieler Brutus emerged from a nearby bush. "Hello Vienna! Remember me?" the dog asked her

Vienna screamed and jumped back. She took deep breaths and saw Brutus's outline. She sighed in relief. "You scared me! And yeah, I remember you..." she was waiting for something else to appear and scare her even worse.

Brutus shape shifted to his human form. "Perhaps you'd be a little more comfortable with me in this form" he said, waiting for Vienna's response

Vienna nodded, shaking a bit. "Either way is f-fine," she stuttered. "Is Ej hiding somewhere to scare me?" she asked, knowing Ej liked to prank people.

Brutus smiled, revealing white teeth, "It's getting late, he's probably in bed already. Do you need an escort to your cabin?"

Vienna played with her knuckles, still nervous. "Yeah, that would be nice," she nodded. She was a sad excuse of a child of Hades. Afraid of the dark, but when she was raised, you always feared who lurked in the shadows of night. She walked over beside the now human, dog.

Brutus looked at Vienna and in his thick South African accent he said "Well follow me, I know my way to the cabins like the back of my paw" he looked at his hand "I mean hand."

Vienna chuckled softly at Brutus. "Alright then," she said to him, still using her fake American accent.

Brutus drew his nunchucks but chose not to spring the blades. He looked to Vienna and said "These are only out in case Ej's hiding about. Don't worry about your weapon, my nunchucks will suffice." Brutus started spinning them rapidly, keeping his ears open for trouble

Vienna followed him along, bracing herself for Ej to come out at any moment. "Thanks for helping me Brutus, I'd probably sleep here or get lost trying to find my cabin. I'm not the brightest crayon in the crayon box," she commented.

"Vienna, I'll do anything for a friend of my master. Now if you'd please follow me, cabin 13 is this way" With that Brutus started walking in the direction of the cabins. "Just remember Vienna, I have dark skin and it's getting dark out. Stay close or You'll lose sight of me."

"Ok...that won't be good," she observed his outline carefully so she could easily keep track of him. She followed him all the way back to cabin thirteen, the Greek fire gave everything around it a scary green light, except Vienna. She just looked stupid. "Thanks for showing me the way Brutus," she told him.

Brutus smiled again. "No problemo, kiddo." with that Brutus shape-shifted back into animal form and bonded off towards cabin 5, only to stop and howl at the moon before using his paw and nose to open the door and go inside

Vienna smiled as she watched Brutus run away as she entered cabin 13. And that night she fell asleep feeling glad she made a few new friends on her first day.
