Lance walked in and immediately pulled is sword out and hacked the heads off of a row of dummies. He continued into his workout. Unaware of the other demigods in the arena

Vienna squealed, causing Gallagher to go on alert. "Calm down boy," she whispered quietly as she tip toed behind Lance. Once she was close enough, she pounced on his back. "Lance!!! I'm back!!" she said, now in a better mood.

Vienna Marie turned her head so she'd look at Lance from the side while being on his back. Her face went from a bright smile, to a clearly forced smile. "I-it was alright," her voice was shaky and it was clear she was lying to him.

She sighed and hopped off Lance's back. "Lance...I went home for a few weeks. My mom wanted me to, but she had to go on a business trip, leaving me alone with my stepfather. You know I HATE him, Lance. Well, he abused me again. It was constant and it just scars you I guess. At least I'm back here at camp," she choked back a sob.

"They aren't physical scars. They're mental. I've been sent to the looney bin before. They think I'm schizophrenic, but they don't understand! And they never will," her voice was soft and she hugged the son of Ares, her boyfriend she guessed, because she needed a hug she thought.

Lance slid his sword in his scabbard and put his arms around Vienna. (His girlfriend as he guessed) She looked like she needed a hug anyway. In his best Elvis impersonation he said "Don't worry little lady. Everything's alright here. You're safe here at camp."

Vienna couldn't help but to crack the smallest smile at his Elvis impression. Her curls were thicker than when she last saw Lance, they would make a great place to lay your head down on, they were like her own personal pillow. "I know, Lance, and I don't wanna go home. I love my mom SO much, but my stepfather gets in the way. I don't know what to do anymore," she sought advice.

"I have no idea what to do babe, in a year I won't be seeing much of my step dad or my mom. I'll be heading to Black Hills State University." Lance said, to prove his point he dug into the lower leg pocket of his camouflage cargo pants and pulled out an acceptance letter from BHSU "You want me to read what it says?" Lance asked

Vienna took the letter and nodded, she began to read the letter out loud. "L-Lance...this is amazing. I'm so happy for you," she chuckled nervously. She only had a year with Lance until he were to leave. Her heart sank, but she tried to act happy for him. It was pretty impressive. She had an acceptance letter, but she had a bit of time to think it over. Plus she kept it under lock and key. She didn't want to make a big deal out of it because she wasn't sure what she wanted.

Lance took the letter back and folded it up before pocketing it "I'll be majoring in business administration with a minor in Mass Communication." Lance put his arm around Vienna "In two weeks time I'm gonna head to Spearfish South Dakota and take a tour of the BHSU Campus. I'll be back at camp a couple days after I leave."

Vienna nodded, taking it all in. "Good thing my college is in new York. I hate traveling," she muttered. "I'm glad you got accepted Lance, I'm very proud of you!" she kissed his cheek.

Lance smiled and pulled Vienna back to him before kissing her on the lips. "I'm happy myself," he said "I thought it would never happen."
