Mommochi stood in the arena, toying with the bronze watch around her neck. She patiently awaited the person she challenged to a friendly fight, Kaira, who had accepted. Mommochi sat down on the ground cross legged and watched the entrance for any sign of her friend.

Mommochi attempted to ignore the other camper, and continued watching the entrance for Kaira. This was supposed to be a private battle between the two of us...oh well she though, taking off her knecklace. Mommochi pressed the one button and the watch transformed into her sword. I always did have a fasination with strange blades...

"Not really, no." Mommochi replide. "I'm just waiting for my friend to come. We're going to have a battle between ourselves, a one-on-one friendly match." She clicked the button once more on her sword and it turned back into the steampunk watch.

Kaira walked into the arena, and placed her bag on the ground. she ignored Alex's presence and smiled at Mommochi. "Hey, sorry i'm a little late." she said, taking her sweatshirt off and placing it with her bag. Kaira reached into her pocket and pulled out what appeared to be a cigarette lighter.

"Hey! That's alright, I don't mind waiting." said Mommochi, then she turned to Alex and continued, "I'm sorry, but this is supposed to be a private battle just between me and her. I hope you don't mind leaving now?" She stood and made sure nothing would be in their way on the ground when they began their battle.

Kaira took out another energy drink--she had already drank at least 10 to try and ensure her alertness when fighting the hypnos camper--and sipped it as she watched Mommochi talk to Alex. Kaira felt into her jean pockets to make sure she still had the other two energy drinks in her pockets.

"So, being that this is a friendly battle, no maiming or deep cutting is allowed." Mommochi stated. "Whenever you're ready." She watched the other camper, trying to come up with a strategy.

"Agreed." Kaira responded ro Mommochi's rules of this battle. The Athena camper finished off her energy drink and tossed it towards her backpack, then simply stood there staring at Mommochi and waiting patiently for her to attack. "I'm ready and waiting." She stated in a bored tone as if there were better things to do with her time. She was doing this as a slight ploy to try and get Mommochi fired up for battle. if Kaira could anger Mommochi enough then Mommochi may become less focused on her battling and more focused on her anger, making her clumsier and more prone to big battle mistakes and therefore easier to take down.

Mommochi smiled slyly, taking her watch and clicking the button. It transformed into a sword and she flicked it in a circle, stancing herself for either an offense or defense position. After a second, she twirled around and aimed for Kaira's left side.

Kaira watched her opponent very closely. when Mommochi attacked, the Athena camper quickly turned her cigarette lighter into a katana and parried her opponent's attack. As she pushed the hypnos camper's sword away, Kaira activated her ring-shield and counter-attacked trying to attack at Mommochi's right calf/ankle.

Mommochi jumped back, barely missing the blade as it cut a slit into her pant leg. She smiled, whiped a bead of sweat off her forehead, then stood once again in her stance. "That was a close one!" she said with a light laugh. Mommochi decided to wait this time for Kaira to attack. She would have to remember the other camper's defense and watch it closely.

Kaira smiled back at mommochi. "Indeed it was." She stated, going back to her original position. Kaira stood unmoving for a long time. She could tell Mommochi wanted her to move first this time, but she once again refused. The Athena camper couldn't help it, it was a critical part of all her battle strategies.

"The two of us are head-strong." Mommochi observed, begining to circle around her apponant in a circle like a cat. Then she said jokingly; "I never knew you were so patient." Mommochi waited another second, then did a spin-attack and brought her sword in a circle, hoping it would create an opening.

Kaira chuckled a bit. "Yeah we are pretty stuborn. And I am only patient in battle." She stated as she mirrored Mommochi's circle-ing. As Mommochi spun her sword to attack, Kaira held up her shield to completely defend her torso and her legs up to just past her knees. She backed up a bit as Mommochi got closer, and waited, timing the spin of the blade, before doing a jab-and-slash to throw the blade off it's spin. She then defended with her shield again as she simultaniously slashed at the Hypnos camper's legs again.

The side of the blade smacked into Mommochi's legs and knocked her down. "Crap!" she breathed out as she caught herself with her hands before her head hit the ground. "Yeah, I should learn to be more patient. It's sort of a virtue I don't have much of." She laughed, pulling herself up to her feet. Then, Mommochi flung her sword at Kaira, wondering if it would hit a chink in the defense or not.
