MONSTER CHARACTER RULES
1.) Monsters may be powerful, yes, but so are demigods. No god-moding with your character, and you can’t make one-swipe kills. You may be fighting demigods with your monster but please remember that the other members have worked hard on making their characters, so unless you have permission to kill them, then you may only wound them.
2.) Remember that there is a magical boundary around Camp Half Blood, so no monsters can enter camp grounds. The closest you may go is the boundary line, no further. The only acceptation is if you are part of the monsters that they stock the woods with. Yes, the woods are filled with monsters, but yet again, you can’t go anywhere else.
3.) If your monster dies in battle, do remember that they burst into a golden sand then reforms a little while later. Therefore, your character doesn’t truly die, as monsters never die in the series. Do not attack the same character for a while, though, seeing as they did just defeat you.
MONSTER CHARACTER APPLICATION
Name; (This is obvious, every character has a name. The only restriction is that you can’t name it Monster or whatever species it is. Ex; if it is a Gorgon, don’t name it Gorgon.)
Species; (Also obvious, this is what kind/type of monster your character is, if it isn’t in the list place a link after the specie’s name to some sort of information like a wiki. You may not put your character as a Titan or anything else like that.)
Gender; (Yeah, that’s right, it’s technically living isn’t it? Therefore it can reproduce, so it has to be either male or female. This is where we stretch things a bit, if you want a male-gender of a species that is only female we will allow you to do so. They gender bent things before in TV shows [ex; Fiona and Cake] so why can’t we?)
Appearance; (What does your monster wear? Is there anything different or odd about their appearance that separates them from others of their kind? We know what the species normally looks like, so anything that is not different or odd should not be put down. Ex; we do not need to know if a Cyclopes has one eye, which is obvious so it does not belong in the description. At least five, full sentences please.)
Personality; (Seeing as this is a character, you can throw the description of the species as a whole out of the window when it comes to personality, seeing as you will be role playing them after all. Think them through and thoroughly, just because they are monsters does not mean you can’t go deeper than “they are evil, the end.” What do they enjoy, what is their life style? Do not put their side [good, evil] in the personality, or the monster will automatically be declined. Minimum 2 paragraphs, 5 lines each, though you are not limited to this.)
Alignment; (An alignment is basically this, do they agree with the good, or do they agree with the bad? What we are asking here is to explain why they believe either the Olympian gods are the right way, or why fighting against them is the right way. Did something happen to them, why do they believe this? A minimum of 2 paragraphs, 5 lines each is required, though you aren’t limited to this.)
History; (Anything important happen that should be noted? Any important story that they have, that got them to this point in time? Use this any way you like, explain it out or role play it out, whatever suits you. Use this space to let people get to know your character by telling them what they had experienced. 2 paragraphs of 5 sentences minimum, you are again not limited to this.)
Other; (Anything to add to this that you feels needs to be mentioned? This includes heritage or anything of the like if you feel it is needed. If there is nothing, leave N/A in the blank, this is not mandatory but it is here in case there is more to tell about your character. Once you have finished, submit your monster to the Waiting Room.)
