((lol, this was actually exactly the image i had in my head HOW DID YOU KNOW MY THOUGHTSSSS!?!?!?))
The patio of course was surrounded by beautiful and fragrant flowers. The table that awaited them was also beautiful, It held two lit red candles since the moonlight was not completely enough for lighting the immediate space between them, and the table cloth was beautifully embroidered with different scenes.
The tall red-head pulled out Aravind's chair for her to be a gentleman and assist her in sitting. He then took his seat across from her, and smiled. "Sae, hoo err ye likin' yer evenin' sae far? Is everythin' tae yer likin', mah sweit?" Alarik asked, his Scottish accent prominent, as always. Meanwhile in the background The son of Apollo had started up some light and sweet mood music.

"It's absolutely gorgeous, Alarik. However did you manage all this?" She looked to the sky, the music surrounding her thoughts. Mentally mumbling, "Perseus... Cassiopeia... Ursae Major and Minor..." Looking back at her date, she smiled genuinely at him. He was the perfect gentleman, if not nervous about her enjoyment of the evening. Food appeared almost like magic as chefs came in and out in the blink of an eye. So much greenery to eat, all spotless, and grilled chicken for herself... it was fantastic.

Alarik's stomach growled quietly in anticipation as food was set in front of him and his lovely lady. The red-head prayed she didn't hear the growling, and made the music a bit louder to cover the noise. The Scotsman was given a delicious dish of tortellini, chicken, tomatoes, vegetables, and some sort of creamy cheese sauce. Personally, he preferred Asian cuisine, but he supposed this Italian food would do. The red-head suddenly remembered that Italian food was one of his ex-boyfriend's favorite kinds of food, but he quickly pushed that thought away to focus on Aravind and what she was saying. Hearing Aravind was having a good night so far brought a smile to his lips.
"Weel, mah Lady, it simply took time, an' pure devotion tae ye an' yer happiness." Alarik answered, "An' ay bit ay cash ne'er hurt much either, but tat's besides th' point." He added. Mismatched orbs locked onto beautiful hazel. The red-head became serious, "Aw 'at matters is thes nicht, these moments, an' th' memories ay thes nicht efter it sadly comes tae an end." Alarik said, his eyes never leaving Aravind's. The son of Apollo held that look for a long moment before grinning from ear to ear. "Sae, noo 'at we ur officially oan uir date, we can gie tae ken each other a bit better. Min' tellin' me a bit abit yerself, mah sweit lotus flower?" He asked, still grinning.

"Well..." Aravind blushed, "what would you care to know? Family, camp... there's not much to tell about me. I'm nothing special." She glimpsed in his eyes a fleeting dark emotion lingering from before, but decided to pay no heed to it. His smile was much more enticing.

Alarik tilted his head, his smile fading. "Naethin' special? mah quine, ye ur th' most magnificent an' intoxicatin' flower Ah hae ever hud th' pleasure ay meetin'. hoo abit ye teel me abit yer fowk? ur yer favorite colur? favorite flavur ay ice cream? hobbies?" He said, the smile reappearing on the red-head's face as he suggested things for Aravind to tell him about. He was excited and interested in knowing more about his lovely date.

((Prepare for break of fourth wall!))
He's almost like a puppy... So excitable! she thought, smile growing on her face. Alarik really was amazing. He was washing away her self-doubt with his flattery as rain does well-hidden tears. It would be a shame to not respond... "Alright then," Aravind grinned. "An eye for an eye... and a truth for a truth. My favorite flavor of ice cream is vanilla, clean, simple. Hobbies... aside from the obvious gardening?" The young woman smiled, taking a sip of water from an ice-cold chalice.
"I very much enjoy weaving and reading mortal books. It's calming... Did you know that there is a man named Rick Riordan? He claims to know much of us, even recording the Great War. Personally... I believe he is a demigod, or, at the least- a Seeing mortal... Imagine... oh. I'm prattling on. S-sorry..." Her eyes downcast, Aravind forked a small bit of chicken, pushing it about the plate absentmindedly before chewing it in thought.

The son of Apollo smiled, amused and happy with the answers Aravind was giving him. She really was quite interesting, and he loved that about her. "Rick Riordan? Aye, Ah hink I've heard ay heem afair. 'at woods be interestin' indeed, tellin' th' mortals ay us an' uir li'es. It's funay....almost nobody woods believe it's real." Alarik reflected, smiling at the daughter of Demeter. "An', yoo're nae prattlin', mah hen, yoo're jist excited an' enthusiastic abit somethin'. Ah loch 'at." He added, grinning at Aravind.

Aravind blushed to a deep crimson, and she looked at her date, astonished at the fact that he knew of Mr. Riordan. No one ever really knew what she was talking about when it came to the mortal world, unless they had just come from that life. Then, she recalled the first question...
"My family, yes? I have a father, naturally, and my step-mother- she's not at all like the storybooks. She's, well... sweet." Aravind's mind slipped away to the past, where it would just be all of them, playing games and laughing... It was sad, in a way, and worry lines appeared on her forehead. "Oh, and two half-brothers- Amon and Damian... I think I miss them the most."

Alarik's eyes widened and his body stiffened a bit when Aravind mentioned her half-brother, Damian's name. It reminded him of his Damien. The redhead tried to relax himself and not focus on the son of Eris. "Ah, weel that's great. Aam glad ye gie alang wi' yer stepmother an' half-brothers. dae ye miss them?" He said, trying to focus on the conversation.
