Chi and Angel had caught up with each other and decided to go to the amphitheater to practice a duet. They entered the building and ran over to the stage. They got on the stage with two microphones and Chi sang her part first.
"Macavity's a mystery cat. He's called the Hidden Paw. For he's a master criminal who can defy the law. He's the bafflement of Scotland Yard. The Flying Squad's despair. For when they reach the scene of crime Macavity's not there! "

Lance had been running from the food fight back in the mess hall. He stopped near the ampitheater to catch his breath, that's when he heard an enchanting sound, he followed it into the ampitheater to find to girls singing together. he decided to sit down and listen to them

Coming up on the amphitheater, Vincent grinned maniacally. Plots were running round his head, and he recognized the song- it was from the Broadway show CATS.
Macavity, Macavity- There's no one like Macavity. He's broken every human law; he breaks the law of gravity.
His powers of levitation would make a fakir stare, and when you reach the scene of crime, Macavity's not there.
How much irony could there be? Those two girls were singing of his arch-rival's namesake. Cen wouldn't let this one escape that fool's notice.
"Macavity... I'll make sure you know of this." The child of Aphrodite wanted nothing more to humiliate the other... a little research couldn't hurt, right?
Noting a male camper he recognized to be Lance Carver, son of Ares, Vincent moved to sit and enjoy the sisters' music.

Lance looked over at Vincent then back at the girls. He was enjoying his time away from the mess of the food fight. So he thought about what his two closest friends, Ej and Alex, and wondered what they were up to. but started swaying to the music as he relaxed

Chi continued to sing the next part of the song not noticing the boys entrance "You may seek him in the basement. You may look up in the air. But I tell you once and once again. Macavity's not there!" The girls were both doing the dance from the actual musical. Angela sang her part next.
"Macavity's a ginger cat. He's very tall and thin. You would know him if you saw him for his eyes are sunken in. His brow is deeply lined in thought. His head is highly domed.His coat is dusty from neglect. His whiskers are uncombed. He sways his head from side to side. With movements like a snake. And when you think he's half asleep
He's always wide awake!"

Vincent scoffed. His rival didn't sleep, just as in the song being sung. Tall, thin, ignores his appearance. It all fit, as if it was predestined when his name was chosen.
Macavity, Macavity. There's no one like Macavity, for he's fiend in feline shape, a monster of depravity.
You may meet him in a by-street, you may see him in the square, but when a crime's discovered then Macavity's not there!
The girls were fantastic, dancing as the feline friends did in the movie. Cen smirked. It was if they knew what they were talking about... Did they know him as well as he did?
Lance, it seems, did not notice Vincent's arrival. Thus, the two sat in awe, watching the young demigoddesses dance.

"Yes?" he asked, as the sisters continued their musical rant about the criminal cat.

The step sisters had finally noticed the two boys watching them. They glanced at them and smirked. Chi sang the next part. "He's outwardly respectable" Angela replied with her part. "I know he cheats at cards" Chi sang next. "And his footprints are not found in any files of Scotland Yard's." The funny part about them singing this exact song is that they had not met the boy named Macavity before and knew not of his existence.

Lance was intrigued by the music, that's when his watch beeped. He checked it and said quietly "Oh man *facepalm* I'm supposed to be at the climbing wall. STUPID STUPID STUPID." He acknowledged Vincent and ran out the door, bound for the wall.

The girls followed with their eyes as the boy ran out of the room rather quickly. The two girls glanced at each other confused by why he ran off out of nowhere. They weren't sure if it was that he didn't like it or if he had to be somewhere and their voices brought him in to see what was happening.

Vincent heard them falter, glancing between them and the running demigod. He didn't mind the pause. It gave him time to think.
These two demigoddesses would be powerful allies, but their love for each other would probably block some of his charmspeaking ability.
Cen stood, making sure his voice would be audible. "Sing, my angels of music. Sing for me." He smiled convincingly, as the Phantom did for Christine all those years ago.

The girls looked at the boy who spoke like the phantom did to the girl in the musical Phantom of the Opera. The girls held back a giggled and continued their song and dance happily. Acting completely like the girls in the musical.
Angela sang next "And when the larder's looted" Chi next "Or the jewel cases rifled" Angela "Or when the milk is missing" Chi "Or another Peke's been stifled" Angela "Or the greenhouse glass is broken and the trellis past repair" Then they sang together finally "There's the wonder of the thing: Macavity's not there!"

The girls froze this time in place totally confused by the boy who ran in then out. "What the heck?!" They said in unison.
