Mommochi lay in the sand, staring up at the starry sky. she knew it was past curfue, but she didn't care. It was a beutiful night, the stars were up and shining and the moon was full and bright. She sighed, closing her eyes for a moment before getting up and jumping fully clothed into the water.

Alex came up onto the beach. Doing what he could to look inconspicuous, the he sat down on a rock and pulled a can of Pepsi out from his SDSU sweatshirt's kangaroo pouch, not noticing Mommochi in the water nearby Alex cracked open the can, took a swig and then stared up at the stars.

Mommochi stood after hearing something pop, and looked around. She noticed Alex sitting nearby and said "Hey, you just popped out of nowhere." She swam to the shore then sat down in the sand with her feet still in the water.

Alex did a spit take. sending pepsi all over. After calming down-and lowering his heart rate- Alex brushed himself off, set his can down, and looked at Mommochi "Yeah, I guess I felt like getting out of the cabin, my siblings were being annoying. I grabbed a pepsi and a candy bar, then came down here. The reason I seemed to come out of nowhere was because I really love to sneak around. It may sound un Apollo-like but it's something I love to do." then he asked "So what brings you down here after curfew?"

"I just get so tired of sleeping, it's all my siblings do!" Mommochi replide, taking a handfull of sand and tossing it into the water. "Being in the Hypnos cabin really takes a toll on your waking hours." She sighed and looked up at the moon. "It's reallt pretty tonight, in the clear sky, isn't it?"

"I agree. Just perfect." Alex stared upwards at the skies, unknowingly moving closer to Mommochi, the sides of their heads bumped. "Ow," then to Mommochi "Sorry about that, it's just that I've always loved astronomy." Alex chuckled a bit "Can you believe it? A son of the sun god loving astronomy. It's crazy and so unApollo-like." He sat down on the rock again and retrieved his soda. "Hey Mommochi, I have another soda if you want it." he said offering his other can to her.

"I'm pretty amazed with it, too, and I'm from the Hypnos cabin. I just don't know much about it, but I wish I did. Besides, it's not that abnormal because he crosses the sky pulling the sun along behind him, so your cabin would have to know something about the stars." Mommochi said, chuckling. "Oh, and yes please, thank you. The salt water makes me very thristy. I wonder what it's like to be able to breath under water and not come up..."

"If you want to know what that's like, you should talk to someone from cabin 3" Alex told her, then he reached into the pocket on his sweatshirt once again and pulled out a king size snickers bar, then proceded to unwrap it before breaking it in half and biting into one. Then looking up at the stars he said, "Wonder what's gonna happen if the harpies find us out here."
