(the rules seem too long in one big list, so I'm going to split them up into different posts)
Before I begin, I must state that this one is proboards own rule and if it is broken the forum itself may be shut down. Anyone twelve years old or younger can't sign up. Again, this isn't my rule, but I must state this because I don't want halfbloodhillcamping to be shut down.
1.) Nothing offensive is allowed on the forum. No Racism, sexism, bullying or discriminating against other members.
2.) No txt spk lke ths. It 8nt fun to lrn or read and it's cnfusng to fgre out. Let's use basic english here. This isn't a phone or text, so please don't treat it as though it is.
3.) No major cursing. I don't know about you, but I highly doubt Mr. D wants to hear you dropping the F-bomb in every other sentence.
4.) To have respect here you must earn it. Be respectful to yourself and others. Don't make an ass of yourself, because you will be treated as such and be banned.
5.) No raging, flaming, trolling, arguing, or otherwise here. Friendly debates welcomed, but going at eachothers throughts isn't wanted.
6.) Do not argue with the admin. If an admin tells you something, then listen.
7.) Use the Vacationing board for when you will be away. If you're going to be absent for a long period of time, then inform the staff by posting it on the Vacationing board in the Information Cabin.
8.) Breaking the rules will result in banning. Break the rules three times, and your account will be frozen for a period of a week to a month. Break the rules again and you will be permanently banned (unless it's an honest mistake, if it's something simple and silly you obviously won't be banned like forgetting to post your absence in the vaca board.)
9.) One account per member. You can create as many characters as you please, which is why it's pointless to have two accounts. We can see your e-mail and IP address, so it's not easy to hide.
10.) You have two weeks after you join to make your first character. If you don't make one character to RP as within the time of two weeks, then your account will be deleted.
11.) Remember that admin can see your e-mail address. If you are inactive for a month without giving notification, we will send you an e-mail with a link back to the site. If you remain inactive for another four months, your account will be deleted and characters moved into adoption.
12.) If you have any questions, comments or concerns, contact an admin! If any sort of problem arises, example; you have forgotten your password and need to make another account, BE SURE to contact an admin so we don't think you're breaking the rules.

Yes I know I'm contradicting rule number 9, but I assure you it's for a good reason. If you've gone through the member list and have seen two accounts with the e-mail moon17walker and have suspected them to be for the same person, you would be correct. I'm the only one who should have two accounts, and I'll explain why. Main Admin is strictly for serious business, for matters that need top authority to be solved. Mommochi, my actual screen name, is for role play and minor issues. The proboards site sends e-mails to the Main Admin account because yes, I am indeed the one who founded the site and this account needs to stay active for me to communicate with proboards.
I have learned through my seven years of roleplaying that people don't respond well to top authority such as Main Admins, which is why I created my second account shortly after creating the forum. I want to role play as much as anyone who joins the site, and therefore I want the best responses that someone can give without being treated like hierarchy. I'm here to make sure the place is kept up and running, I'm no queen and I don't want people feeling like if they say the wrong thing I'll lop off their head. I try to befriend everyone and make sure everyone is doing good on the site, if you join I want to make sure this place feels like home and that you're my friend.
Same goes for all of the other admin here. You can be sure that if you ever need anything, you can contact one of the admin. We do not play favorites, I hate the favorite game with a passion and it's unfair. Be aware that the admin know each other from real life, I trust the other two and I know they are willing to help you out. We discuss everything about the site, what the best way to go about certain situations. If you contact one of the admin, we discuss with each other if we don't know how to answer you or go about your request. I have been moding sites with foxininja for a few years now, and this is the first time with maskedsinger, and they're both reliable and I'm thankful that they're here at the forum spending as much free time as they can, which they're very busy right now in this point of life so I am very grateful.
Point is, every admin here can be trusted. If you join up, or if you already have, you can be assured that you will be received in a friendly matter and are at a site where all the admin know what's going on because the events or decisions are discussed between ourselves. We hope to have this site running for quite some time, and for each and every member to be a happy camper. Even though this may seem like hypocracy, I ask for every member to have only one account and I hope the above clearly explained why I'm the only acception. If, for some reason, you think you should have two accounts, pm me with why. If it wasn't because of the above, I myself would only have one account.
