RP Rules
1.) All from OOC rules apply during role playing.
2.) Do not begin role play until you have created at least one character made and accepted. It will take up to 24 hours for an admin to respond.
3.) No god-moding. This means when another role player takes control of your charecter without your concent or permission. Contact an admin immediately if this happens.
4.) When starting a new thread, you MUST identify if it is open for other roleplayers to join or not. To do this, put in the name of your thread than an [open] or [closed] at the end.
[open] is optional, if it doesn't say [open], [closed] or otherwise than members may assume that it is open for others to join and therefore they may post in that thread.
[closed] is used in case it is a planned event with other RPers. If it says closed, it is because that thread has a certain path it must take and it can't be interfered with. An example of this being used is for a prophecy. Do not use [closed] to state that a thread is finished.
5.) When you're done with a thread, replace the [open] or [closed] with a [finished]. Contact an admin when it is finished, and they shall move the thread into the archives. It will remain for any and all to look back on.
6.) Nothing over pg-13 as far as "getting it on" goes. We don't want to read your characters doing it, so please don't roleplay the action out. This forum was not created for that.
7.) This is a homophobic-FREE forum. We gladly embrace those charecters that are gay, lesbian, bi or transgender without a second thought. It is not disgusting here; it is welcomed. Yet again, don't go into anything naughty, this is an all-age forum after all.
8.) You may create as many characters as you please. As said in rule number two, an admin will respond swiftly to your applications here, so there is hardly any wait.
9.) This is a real-time based forum. As in no one can be in two places at once. Don't role play with the same character in more than one thread at a time.
Unless that character is participating in a prophecy, than they may not be in two places at once. Therefore, if you start something in a thread, finish it before moving on. Members can get confused if one character is in multiple places at one time, which is why you have the ability to create as many characters as you are able to keep track of.
10.) Please keep OOC posting out of role play categories. If you have something to say, than you may say it (within parentheses like this), but try not to make it constant, and do not make the post entirely OOC chat. An RP post/thread should have role play in it.
11.) You must be on and posting periodically. You must be active in role playing here, you can't just log on and say "they won't delete me!" This is why we have the vacationing board, if you're not going to be active post it in there; it will be acceptable, no matter the case, and we will wait for your return.
13.) No one-post threads. This means you start a thread then call it [finished] when no one had the chance to reply. If no one is replying after a few days, tell an admin and they'll move it to the archives. You should be able to go around and ask to see if anyone would like to RP with you before contacting an admin.
14.) No Marry Sues or Garry Dues. This means no making an unoriginal, all perfect flawless character with all abilities known to mankind. They have strengths and flaws, like everyone else.
15.) When your character is accepted, please put the name of the character into your signature and the god/goddess in parentheses. Ex; Percy (Poseidon)
