So my friend and I wandered around downtown, visiting the fancy cupcake shop spending two dollars for a midget cupcake. Only this chocolate cupcake had chocolate syrup in the middle and a large amount of icing. We split it and we died it tasted so good. Then, we walked around some more and decided to head home.
"Hey, we should go to the new Dream Puffz place on the way back to your house," my friend told me.
"Sure," I replied.
So we did, the cream puffs tasted fantastic, and the owner is well known around town...for basketball, and now baking. He's like over seven feet tall and I'm only five feet it was awkward. So we also got one for her brothers to split, one for her mom, and one for her grandmother.
Back at my house we left the cream puffs on the counter so my dogs wouldn't try to eat them. In the other room we laughed and played with my stuffed animal version of lumpy space princess along with my sister. That's when we heard the quote that would change our lives forever.
"Hey ****! These cream puffs suck!" my dad shouted.
My dad didn't curse off I'm just blocking my sister's name for personal reasons. We all burst out laughing, and I guess my mom heard.
"****!" she gasped, "Those were *****'s!" she cried.
"Oh! Sorry!" he said.
My friend honestly didn't care she thought it was TOO funny. Now a days, we still use that term, and we also do it to describe people. In class when we see someone we don't like we say,
"She's/he's like a cream puff," and then we'd snicker.
Being like a cream puff is code for "you suck" because it derives from "these cream puffs suck".
