Haley froze, the boy on the microphone's voice was so velvety and rich. She looked over and practically melted, he was absolutely gorgeous. She bit her lip to try to contain her emotion.

Adrianna listened to the speaker at the microphone. She sighed. She'd just possibly sit there. "Haley," Adrianna started. "You okay?"

Haley nodded. "Yea, I'm totally fine," she answered nonchalantly. She felt a blush begin to form on her face, and she was trying to stop it from happening, but nature took its course and she turned bright red.

Alex turned towards Hayley, stood up, smiled and asked "Would you care to dance milady?" as he out stretched his hand

"Oh it would be in honor my good sir," she used a fake British accent to make it seem legit. She gently put her hand on his and stood.

Alex led Haley out onto the dance floor and after he turned to face her, he put one arm on her waist. He readied his feet and in his head he thought Well here goes nothing

Haley put her arms on his shoulders because that's what she thought she was supposed to do. She looked up at Alex, her curls pushed back enough so the light shimmer of her earrings showed. The were little robots holding a cookie. She never danced with anyone like this before. She hoped she didn't mess it up.

Haley looked over at Adrianna and smiled brightly, then looked back up at Alex. She felt so calm with his arms around her.

Adrianna, still and calm, sat in her seat. She knew she would be the one who would stay seated. She was new after all, and she didn't have many friends. She closed her eyes, almost, fully at peace.

Vincent began to wander the room while singing, watching couples begin to dance. One young woman- she was absolutely stunning- remained seated, and he walked to her side. She was the one to be asked.
"Beautiful Adrianna- Would you care to dance? 'And now you’re beside me and look how far we’ve come... So far, we are, so close.'" He smiled, holding out a gloved hand.

Adrianna blushed slightly and took the boy's hand and stood. "I'd love to dance. I'm not very good though." She giggled and followed the boy onto the dance floor.

Alex made sure not to lead as he danced with Haley. He was a master of slow dancing. Gentle and and calm. "You're a good dancer Haley."

Vincent smiled at the beautiful young lady on his arm. He would continue to sing as the song went on, but he lead Adrianna gently through the waltz. "Adrianna, you're a wonderful dancer. How is it we have not quite met before?" Cen lifted her as the song reached a high point, spinning as he brought her back down. "My name is Vincent Taylor. It is most definitely a pleasure to meet your acquaintance."
