Damien remained where he was, watching as his boyfriend used the water from the fire hidrant as a way to start an iris message. He tried to focus on things around him to keep awake. The shaggy haired teen wondered if this was how hypnos cabiners felt during the day. The child of chaos hoped that Aravind would be awake and that she would be able to get here fast...if she agreed to help them that is..

"Aravind Sarin, Camp Half Blood," Macavity murmured to the waiting messenger goddess. Sighing, he waited for the connection with worry. Slowly, an image of a girl with wavy brown hair appeared. "Ara!" The girl turned to face him, surprise and annoyance on her face. "Mac. How lovely to see you." Sarcasm intended. Yikes. "Listen, I need your help, please. We need your help. Can you fly over with a pegasus or two?" "Why should I, Macavity? After all you've done to me and Cen. Why?" Her chocolate eyes alighted with a fire not customary to her calm personality. "Listen, Damien and I are bleeding to death in the streets of Brooklyn." He moved aside so she could see the prone camper. "Only YOU can help." He was a master at pulling her heartstrings, unfortunately, and she hated him for it. "Fine. I will send you a pegasus with a chariot for Damien. I'm doing it for HIM, not you," she huffed and turned away. As the image began to fade, Macavity hurriedly said, "I never stopped loving you... but the harvest cannot grow in darkness." He had already returned to his boyfriend, stroking his bloody cheek, when the last words floated to him on the wind... "I know..."

Damien's hearing was fading in an out as he tried listening to what Aravind and Macavity were saying in their Iris message. He soon gave up and focused instead on trying to feel better. he was freezing, and realized all the patchwork he would need to do for his sweatshirt and possibly his pant legs as well. Oh well, that was a problem to be addressed later. The child of chaos felt his boyfriend's hand against his face, stroking it and calming him. Damien closed his eyes, for the lids were growing heavier by the second.

"No... no no no no no..." Macavity had no idea what to do to keep him awake, so... He kissed Damien's lips. It was desperate, needing him to stay. A wind blew, signalling the arrival of their aid. Aravind was not there, just the pegasi and chariot. Thanking the gods, and Aravind, for their salvation, Macavity looked at Damien once more. His eyes were still closed, body heavy and limp to move. "Oh, curse this. I blame myself. It was my idea for a movie, darn it."

Damien was drifting into sleep, when he felt warmth against his lip. He smiled and pressed his lips against his boyfriend's before feeling himself get sucked into the inky blackness of unconsciousness. The shaggy haired teen opened his eyes to a field in which it appeared the ground had been burned up. He looked around, confused for a while before spotting a town burning with people screaming and cheering and other such random chaos. Damien sighed, it had to be his mom's work. Eris appeared before her son, and smiled. "A lovely job you did." She said, meaning the destruction he had caused in the streets of Brooklyn. "Gee, thanks mom...." He said, unenthusiastically. The goddess frowned. "Why so glum?" she asked, turning to watch the burning town. "Um, maybe because i could be dying and none of the gods are helping?" Damien muttered. Eris sighed and responded with, "Well, you were breaking the rules first.....anyway, I have come to tell you there is danger brewing within the camp. Beware Aphrodite cabin." "I thought so....but Aphrodite, really? I kinda thought they were all about pink and make-up..." The shaggy haired teen said. Eris shook her head and faced her son once again. "I have to leave now...I wish I could stay with you longer, my son...But be cautious....Aphrodite cabin isn't what it seems...nothing is really...." And with those words, Eris faded into a cloud of darkness as did the rest of the scene around Damien. The child of chaos's eyes fluttered open, and he glanced around wondering where he was now.

"Ai sto diaolo! Go to hell!" Macavity slashed away at a harpy with Damien's knife, clutching his bleeding side. "Ugh!" He landed a strike, the first rays of sunlight glinting off the celestial bronze into her eyes. Flying off, squawking, the harpy glared back at the son of darkness standing tall in the dawn. He stood until she had gone, knife rattling to the chariot's floor, him following. They had gone off course, and Macavity righted the path of the pegusi once more, Camp Half-Blood in sight. "Oh, gods. I hope no one's up yet... It's only 5:30."

Damien saw Macavity defeating the harpy, and blinked a few times, trying to understand what was going on. He heard Macavity say something in another language, and realized the older teen was holding his dagger...or, it appeared to be a dagger right now when in reality it was Damien's apple of discord. "M-Macavity....?" Damien mumbled. His voice sounded a bit gravely and strained, tiredness ever present in the tone. The child of chaos realized they were both flying, in a chariot.

Macavity turned his head quickly to face the voice. "All the gods... You're okay! You're alive!" He kissed the chaos child's forehead, smiling. He peeked over the side of the chariot quickly. Two figures stood waiting for them on the hill. One was Aravind, and the other, it seemed, was Vincent. Scowls met his face and he ducked back down as they turned and ran back to their cabins before seven. "We're home, Damien. You'll be okay, I swear... as long as Mr. D. doesn't find out." He brushed back his boyfriend's shaggy bangs to look into his eyes.

Damien stared into Macavity's chocolate eyes, and gave a crooked smile. "I know I'll be OK. I'm with you." He said to his boyfriend, his voice still sounding strange. The Eris camper's expression then became much more serious as he stared at Macavity. "...I had a dream..." He stated, wondering if Macavity would even want to hear about the talk he had with his mom.

They landed as softly as possible, pegusi still heading toward the stables. Macavity almost didn't notice; he was too worried and confused. "A... a dream? Like, a confusing demigod dream? O-or a normal nightmare?" He released the pegusi from all their harnesses as they reached the stables. Hauling Damien gently to his feet, Macavity held him close. "... Tell me, okay? Though, I'm getting that feeling again."

"It was more of a demigod dream. My mom was there and she said something bad was going on in camp. She also told me to 'beware Aphrodite cabin'....." Damien explained to Macavity, wondering what he would think of the dream. He enjoyed being held by Macavity, it gave hin a warm feeling inside. His legs ached as he stood though.
