"Alright," she sighed and her eyes turned black, the irises blood red. "I doubt we'll bump into anything...I think," she guessed. As Vienna walked, her nails became long sharp, black claws and she didn't pay any mind to it. "So..." she smiled a sharp toothed smile at Aradel. "What does your godly parent do exactly?" she asked.

Aradel walked alongside her, staring for a moment at her sharp and pointy teeth. "Eris, she's the goddess of strife, discord and rivalry. The gods had a wedding once, she wasn't invited but showed up anyway, and had been denied admittance. So she took a golden apple with the words 'To the fairest' carved into the side and threw it over into the crowd of goddesses. Three of them claimed it, which lead to rivalry, which lead to the Trojan war. She was also upset about her demigods not being let into the camp until after Percy completed his mission." Aradel paused, looked down at Vienna's hands, then said "I've heard of demigods obtaining powers and abilities from their godly parent, but I've never thought of anything like this..." She glanced around once again, scanning for monsters.

"Oh, well she's quite an interesting mother. And you mean this, not even done yet," she stuck her tongue out and it was slit like a snake's. She then unfurled massive wings, they were black and tattered, tinged with gold. "I never liked when this happens, but I guess I just have to get over the fact that it happens. I'm not always like this, but I wish I could learn how to control when the transformation begins, so it's not as frequent," she looked to the ground.

Lance, Ej, and Brutus remained quiet but they drew their weapons as a precautionary measure. As they followed they kept their ears open for the slightest sign of trouble.

"Have you spoken to Chiron about this? Someone's bound to know how to help you control it." Aradel said, looking back at the three boys behind them. "I don't see any trouble yet. You?"

"I just got here this morning, you're lucky I'm even opening up to you guys," she eyed the all. Soon it was dark out WMD Vienna led the way, she disguised in with the darkness quite well though. A loud crack filled the air and Vienna hissed, twisting her pin, which turned into the Epirus bow. "W-whose there?" she said nervously.

Aradel ripped the bracelet off her arm and onto the ground, watching the area as her bracelet turned into a giant mechanical bronze metal snake. It stood as a statue, still and observant of the dark woods that surrounded them. "Amyntas, careful...what do you see?" Aradel whispered. Her eyes widened. "Three of them. He sees three monsters." she whispered to the others.

Vienna nervously searched the area for the three monsters and she pulled the string back on the bow, a silvery gold arrow formed, lighting the way so they good at least see their surroundings. "What's happening?" she whispered as she awkwardly fell back in between Lance and Ej. Her wings twitched slightly and she was ready to fight. She was just waiting for the monsters to appear.

"Stay calm..." Aradel whispered, watching Amyntas flick its bronze tongue out into the air. She narrowed her eyes. "He smells something... like dogs... Hellhounds!" Three large bodies stalked out from behind the trees, their pelts black and eyes glowing red.

Vienna hissed and aimed her arrow at one of them and it growled at her viciously and sprang at her. The hellhound weighed more than her so it easily knocked her down, crushing her under its weight. She squirmed under its weight, trying to push the hellhound off of her. She tried not to scream.

Aradel attempted to run over to Vienna to help her, but a hellhound jumped and tackled her as well. It's claws began to sink down into her skin before Amyntas sprung forth and bit down on the monster, then whipping its head to the side, sending the monster flying into the hellhound that stood upon the fellow camper. Aradel got to her feet and looked over at Vienna. "You alright over there?!" She crouched and lifted her fists, thinking about how she was thankful for all those years fighting in medieval reenactments.

Vienna's heart pounded, her shirt was torn in many places and her severely emaciated body showed through the large claw marks. She was bleeding quite a bit. "I think I am alright..." she said between breathing, nodding awkwardly. She looked and found the third hellhound and as it sprang she pulled back and shot it, the force of the Epirus bow's arrow caused a burst of golden light and then everything went back to darkness.

"Good shot!" Aradel stated. One of the hellhounds pounced at her once again, but she whipped around and shot her leg out, aiming for its face. The timing was perfect, the heal of her food struck the monster's snout, breaking its nose. A pain shot up her leg, Aradel was definitely going to feel that in the morning. Amyntas shot out at the hellhound as it was getting back up to its paws, wound back as it opened its jaws and struck out. His sharp, jagged bronze fangs tore into the monster, and it burst into golden dust.

"Oh my...." Vienna said. "Are you alright?" she asked Aradel. Vienna stared at the pile of gold dust. "Want me to carry you back? You seem to have hurt your leg quite badly," she pointed out. "We really should get back soon, we don't want to run into anything else," Vienna was alert and gripped her bow tightly.

"Yeah, I'm fine..." Aradel stated. "The dog had a hard muzzle, I just badly bruised my foot. I've had worse. Are you going to be okay, though?" She looked over at Vienna, at her cuts and torn clothes. "And yeah, we should head back to camp, before they send anyone to look for us."
