"I've had worse," Vienna replied. Her eyes drooped and went from glowing red, to normal violet again. "Cmon," she began walking along her palm sweaty from her tight grip. "Are you sure you don't need support for your foot?" she asked once more, a bit skeptical about Aradel walking along with a bad foot. She looked back at Lance and Ej awkwardly. She had only been there a day and boys were actually a close distance from her.

"I participated in medieval battle reenactments my entire life, fighting with real weapons and armor, so a little bruise on my heal isn't such a big deal." Aradel stated, following her eyes over to the boys. "And as far as you three go, she's on our side. Remember that. Some demigods inherit abilities, others weapons." She turned and started walking again, pausing when she got an idea. "Hey, Vienna, have you ever used those wings to fly?"

Vienna Marie shook her head. "I've tried flying, but the force of the wings beating are really strong and I'm not very big. Also, I'm not much of a heights person. Or a water person. I'm kinda afraid of both. Like I can drink water, but things like baths, I can't do," she looked down, feeling embarrassed.

"Ah, so no swimming for you. Understandable, the top three gods such as Zeus, Poseiden and Hades don't like each other's children in their domains. Poseidon children can't go in airplanes, as an example, they'll get shot down. So that's understandable." Aradel stated, continuing to walk. "You can probably go in and out of the Underworld anytime you wanted."

"I guess I could, my....dad wouldn't particularly enjoy my prescense most likely, but I still could. Now why did you want to know about me and flying?" she tilted her head to the side curiously. He wings accidentally hit the boys by accident. "Sorry!" she jumped, completely startled.

Ej tripped on an exposed root and sent his zweihander flying into the trees. Lance looked at his faithful pet. "Brutus!" he said "Retrieve Ej's blade for him." Brutus ran off into the trees in search of Ej's sword while Lance kept his guard up on his friend and the girls, keeping his ears ((he has a sharp sense of hearing)) open for any kind of trouble

Vienna awkwardly looked back at Ej on the ground, then shakily held a hand to out him, her arms were thin and fragile, and they shook nervously.

Ej grabbed Vienna's arm and gently pulled himself up. He watched as Brutus came back with his sword and retrieved it. Lance on the other hand snapped his head towards the trees on his right. Lance said "Giant scorpion, 336 pounds, 14 feet from head to stinger barb, Male." Just to prove his point, a giant scorpion fitting his description thrashed it's way into view. Lance just kept his calm and said "Brutus! Shape shift and engage!" Brutus growled "Yes master!" he said.
Brutus's fur became human skin and in seconds there stood a dark skinned boy with amber eyes and shaggy black hair. He bared his teeth and drew is weapons, dual bladed nun-chucks, and like his master he moved into attack position. Ej slipped around to the monsters rear and hefted his zweihander, swung and sliced off the tail leaving the monster vulnerable. Brutus jumped onto the scorpion's back and jabbed his blades into a weak point in the monster's armor and the beast disintegrated. Ej and Lance grabbed the tail as a spoil of war then joined the other with Brutus behind them, still in human form.

Vienna Marie watched the three fight the scorpion, making it look incredibly easy. She would've died if they weren't there. "G-guys...we should move a bit quicker..." her wings started to beat slightly. She was very scared now and she had no idea what to do. There's no telling what else was out there. Leaves blew around as her wings beat lightly. She grabbed onto Lance, trying to stay on the ground, because she was terrified of heights.

Lance led the way through the woods, gripping his 2-handed sword like it was a simple 1 handed blade. "Those scorpions are highly territorial. to him we're an invading force. Ej and Brutus nodded. Lance looked at the girls "we should be out of these woods before sundown, the monsters are twice as vicious at night." With that Lance continued to walk with his rottweiler, still in human form, close by.
Ej was admiring the scorpion tail he was carrying on his own. It was 4 feet long and onyx black. His sword was back in necklace form and he was whistling a happy tune as he trailed behind the group

Vienna's wings stopped beating as she followed in the end of the group, she was too awkward to stay in the middle where in was much safer. She looked at the scorpion tail, it was only a foot shorter than her. She wanted to poke the end of it for some reason. She heard a twig crack and she panicked pulled back the string on her solid black, shimmering bow. Another goldeny silver arrow formed. "Bloody heck!!!" she freaked out and shot the arrow where she heard the noise and she jumped as the force of the arrow hitting a tree caused another burst of golden silver light.

Lance, Brutus and Ej's heads snapped to see the commotion. "What the bloody Hades is going on?" Brutus barked

Vienna's breathing was hard, her heart raced. "I dunno I just got really scared I can't help it! I have issues!" she shook violently. She shrugged a bit and had an small innocent smile on her face. "Sorry?"

Ej just said "I understand. Everyone gets a little jumpy." He put his arm around Vienna. "Let's keep going, we should be close to camp by now."

Vienna blushed a dark red and hid her face. "O-ok..." she muttered, her voice quiet and shy. Her shoulders could barely support Ej's arm she was so thin. She was also way shorter than him. Her hand shook as she tried to hold her bow. "Am I going to be in trouble?" she asked, looking up at Ej.
