Percy smiled. "Very nice swords and such. But I like to stick to Riptide. No other weapon feels right." He smiled again and went back to hitting the training dummy again and again. "Oh. How long have you guys been at camp?" He asked ruffling the hair on the back of his head.

Ej pulled out his camp necklace and showed it's lone bead "As you can see, I've been here for one year."

Percy looked at the necklace and smiled slightly nodding. "Welcome, then," He patted Ej's back and his smiled grew wider. "I'm head at Poseidon's cabin, since I've been here for some time." He chuckled slightly. "Glad to have someone like you at camp!"

Ej stared out the open arena gates "I live in cabin 11 myself, but my best friends are from cabins 5 and 7. I'm pretty sure you get what I'm saying'. Right Percy?"

Percy blinked multiple times, trying to come to the conclusion. "You're. . . from Hermes..." He said trying to put two and two together. "And you're friends are from other cabins. Are you saying you don't get along with your siblings or something?" Percy's expression showed that he was completely, and utterly, clueless.

Ej looked at Haley, who was standing next to him "She's really the only one in my cabin I enjoy having around. But Alex and Lance are my best friends"

Percy nodded. "So you don't really get along with your siblings. Same here. I hardly know any of 'em. The only ones I truly talk to are Adrianna and Tyson..." He paused, suddenly feeling disconnected somehow with his family. "And Adrianna's super distant.. if you haven't noticed, so it's even harder to talk to her." He glanced in her direction, but the girl was long gone. 'Probably to go somewhere where she can be alone' Percy thought with a sigh.

Ej remembered Alex saying something about Adrianna "According to my buddy Alex, Adrianna is super cool. She spent the night in his arms down at the track a few weeks ago."

Percy glanced up, almost suddenly even more interested in the conversation. "Really? Anything else?" He said, giving Ej his full attention.

Ej adjusted the padded leather straps that held his armor on his bare shoulders "Alex and Adrianna met up one night down by the track. They were both there for the same reason. These two couldn't sleep so they went out for a walk. Alex grabbed a sweatshirt and his bow and his arrow quiver before leaving cabin seven. If you Adrianna's side of the story, you'll have to talk to her. I myself am a better pickpocket than story teller." He shifted his armor straps once again before he sat down on a nearby bench

Percy nodded. 'THAT'S not gonna be easy' he thought to himself. He capped Riptide and put it back in his pocket. He walked over to Ej and sat beside him, sighing. "At least she's making friends.." Was all he could comment about her.

"So!!!" Haley stepped in, trying to break up the awkwardness. Her fiery orange curls blew gently in the breeze, her emerald eyes twinkling with wonder and curiosity. "I'm Haley Valentina, I have been in camp for...two months? Yeah, two months. Ej is my big brother! He's awesome!" she emphasized the word 'awesome'. "Adrianna, she's like AMAZING!!! As it goes for male relationships, like romance wise, Ej can take it easy. I'm a legal potato, so it's all good!" she smiled gleefully, her dimples showing.
