Haley stood, putting the long wig back on over her head, adjusting it a bit. She sniffled, her eyes glued to the ground, not daring to look ahead of her. She pressed down the ruby in the middle of the sword's handle, the sword turning back to a gem which she stuck back into her snake bracelet. She then pressed down on the symbol on her breastplate and it returned into gems which she put back into her earrings. "Well..." she spoke with a surprisingly quiet tone. "What do we do now?"

Haley sighed, sitting back down, her flannel shirt baggy on her. "Sit here, Ej," she pat the seat beside her, a small smile on her face.

Haley slowly snaked her arms around Ej, climbing up onto his lap, laying her head on his chest. "I just needed a hug, that's all..."

Percy made his way to the bench. He sighed and plopped down on the wood. He closed his eyes and reached into his pocket. The plastic ballpoint pen rolling between his fingers. His mind wandered. It shifted to different thoughts. It shifted to various people, and memories. He nearly forgot himself, what he was doing, and where he was. He almost drifted into a sound sleep.

Haley glanced over at Percy, who was practically sleeping. She stood and she actually was able to pick up Percy bridal style and shakily carry him all the way to the Poseidon cabin where she set him down on his bunk and removed his shoes. Her eyes slowly losing the childish innocence she once had.

Ej put his arms around his half sister "You need a hug, then be ready for an Ej squeeze!" He said as he squeezed her tight

Haley couldn't help but smile as Ej bear hugged her, as she would say. She wrapped her arms around him and gave him the best hug she could muster up for her awesome big brother.

Haley spoke softly, a more caring and genuine tone than before, "No no, it's alright." she reassured him, resuming the hug once more. "I thought your ferret was going to pop out of no where."

"Last I saw of Cairo, he was asleep in his cage back in the cabin. He had a long day and wanted some time alone." Ej said, then he thought for a second. "You know, maybe our cabin isn't the quietest place for him to rest. When I leave here, I'm probably just going to drop him off with Alex in the Apollo cabin. At least they have a soundproof basement and cabin walls."
