Adrianna sighed and hugged herself tighter. She somewhat felt better. About herself and about her past. She kept her eyes closed, and felt the cool breeze hit her face.

Alex's humming ceased as he fell asleep, arms still around Adrianna.

Adrianna soon fell asleep. She was still in Alex's arms. Her grip on herself loosened and her arms fell into her lap.

Alex's eyes opened the next morning. His arms released from around Adrianna and stood up. He gently set Adrianna against the stands before he cracked another Pepsi and watched the sun rise

Adrianna stirred in her sleep. She was having that nightmare again. She had been having the dream repeatedly for the past month. She muttered "no" repeatedly and then she woke up screaming, covered in a cold sweat. She put her hand on her aching forehead. "Oh," She said embarrassed. "Good morning."

Alex helped Adrianna up "Morning sunshine!" he chuckled. He popped an orange and knife out of his drawstring bag. "Orange?" he asked

Adrianna giggled and shook her head. "No thanks." She sat up and rubbed her temples slightly.

"You ok?" Alex asked her as he split the orange open with his knife.

Adrianna looked up and smiled reassuringly. "Yeah. I'm okay. It happens every morning. It'll subside eventually." She looked down and shut her eyes slightly, wincing at the pain in her head. Her expression relaxed as the pain finally subsided

Alex noticed Adrianna wince "Adrianna, don't lie to me. I know something is causing you mental pain. You can tell me what's troubling you." Alex looked down at his class ring on his finger and when he looked up he noticed Adrianna was gone. He stood up, gathered his things and walked away.
